Renske Minnaar

Renske Minnaar is sedert Mei 2013 aan die stuur van Bergzicht Opleiding as HUB. Saam met haar span het sy onvermoeid gewerk om die visie van ons stigterslede te dryf en die finansiële volhoubaarheid van hul organisasie te verseker deur te fokus op fondsinsameling, program-akkreditasie, finansiële beheer en die relevansie van ons opleiding. Renske het in 1981 ʼn Diploma in Hotelbestuur in Johannesburg behaal, waarna sy ʼn beroep opgebou het in die Gasvryheid- en Diensbedrywe waar sy verskillende poste in bemarking en verkope beklee het by Fedics Voedseldienste, Avis, Teljoy Communications en ook by Vodacom, waar sy betrokke was by die loodsing van die maatskappy se eerste sellulêre foon in Suid-Afrika in 1994 en later in Australië. In 1996 het sy by die wynbedryf aangesluit om spesifiek te fokus op uitvoerbemarking en ook handelsmerk-ontwikkeling by Spier, ʼn bekende wynlandgoed in Stellenbosch. Sy het in Junie 2011 by ons NRO aangesluit as Direkteur van ons Raad en het op die Raad gedien tot Mei 2013, toe sy aangestel is as HUB.

Harold Martiens

Training Manager

Harold Martiens joined our team as Training Manager at Bergzicht Training & Development in 2023. His academic accolade include BComHon in Human Resource Management from MANCOSA.  He is currently studying part-time towards a MBA at Regenesys Business School with the following electives chosen: International Management, Organisational Development & Change. With his experience as Acting Manager at the Western Cape Office and Provincial Manager, the past 4 years plus with Health & Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA), he brings a wealth of knowledge in training accreditation procedures, administrative management and monitoring and evaluation. His understanding and passion, especially of skills training and the ongoing changing landscape of training authorities and accreditation processes, is making him a perfect match in this position. His understanding of Bergzich’s strong focus on holistic sustainability inventions makes him an invaluable asset to the team.

Harold enjoys outdoor activities and is a keen sportsman.

Nathalie Skippers

Studente-ondersteuning

Nathalie Skippers het aangesluit by Bergzicht Opleiding in Februarie 2018 en is verantwoordelik vir Studente-ondersteuning by ons organisasie. Nathalie is ’n geregistreerde maatskaplike werker met meer as 12 jaar se ondervinding as maatskaplike werker en proefbeampte vir die Departement Maatskaplike Ontwikkeling sowel as in die niewinsgewende sektor. Haar toewyding tot die veld van maatskaplike werk blyk duidelik uit die verskillende toekennings wat sy van die Departement Maatskaplike Ontwikkeling ontvang het oor die jare – van die toekenning vir die Nuweling wat die Grootste Potensiaal Toon in 2003 tot die Meriete Toekenning vir Uitstekende Maatskaplike Werk Dienste in 2013. Nathalie het ook gewerk as Mede-koördineerder van die Johann Rupert Beursfonds van die Johann & Gaynor Rupert Stigting waar sy ook loopbaanvoorligting en mentorskap gebied het aan leerders. In haar private kapasiteit werk sy met Kingdom Kids & Prospering Parents, ’n private gemeenskapsuitreikprogram. Sy was ook verantwoordelik vir die konseptualisering van jeugontwikkelingsprogramme en bied loopbaanvoorligting en mentorskap aan leerders deur die organisasie.

Louisa le Roux

Fundraising Administrator

Louisa joined Bergzicht Training & Development in 2016. She is primarily responsible for Fundraising and Training Material Development and also serves on the Student Selection Panel. Aspiring to make a positive contribution through teaching and upliftment, she believes education is a key to future success.

Louisa’s qualifications include a Master’s degree (Cum Laude) in Classical Culture (University of Stellenbosch), a Higher Education Diploma (University of Stellenbosch) and Secretarial Skills (Stellenbosch College), including Office Management.

Louisa has solid experience in empowering the disadvantaged and disabled through involvement in rehabilitation and mental development programmes. She has previously also held positions as Public Relations Officer and Research Executive, where she was responsible for sales and marketing, project management and client relations respectively. Furthermore, she has also worked in Kenya as a Volunteer Group Instructor to facilitate horse riding therapy at Riding for the Disabled.

Reneé Leiths

Receptionist

Renee joined Bergzicht Training & Development in 2023. Renee joins Bergzicht with 17 years administrative experience with her last position where she worked in the Stellenbosch Hospice Book Shop. She understands the culture of NGO world and has a passion for the industry. In her position as Reception she is responsible for candidate registration, student orientation and assisting in administration across all departments.

After matriculating in Cloetesville in 2003 she completed a PA/Office Administrator course at JCT Computer Training Centre. She is a local resident and currently resides in Idas Valley, Stellenbosch.

Jenni Moses

Office Administrator

Jenni Moses, joined Bergzicht Training & Development in 2023. After 24 years as a customer service professional in the banking industry she brings a wealth of knowledge to Bergzicht in her position as Office Administrator. As part of her responsibilities she prides herself in maintaining the high standard of service delivery to all of Bergzicht’s stakeholders.

Jenni’s skill set includes excellent time management, people management, customer relations and problem solving. She is a local resident of Stellenbosch and lives with her two sons in Idas Valley.

Nicole Okkers

Training Administrator

Nicole joined Bergzicht Training & Development in 2023. With 6 years experience in the challenging career of debt collection at a local attorney firm she brings her disciplined administration knowledge from this profession to this training administrative position. With the the guidance and leadership of the Training Manager, Nicole is responsible for securing programme accreditation and support, policies and procedures and student administration. She is organised, self-motivated and passionate about continually improving the accreditation standards of Bergzicht.

After matriculating in 2013, Nicole obtained a Certificate in Winemaking at Pinotage Youth Development Academy.

Nicole hails from Jamestown, enjoys outdoor activities and volunteers with her local community outreach programmes.

Her qualifications include a National diploma in Management Assistance (Boland College) and professional designation as Skills Development Technician (ASDSA).
