Certified Food Service Assistant (FSA) Natassja Doko from Jonkershoek found a new purpose and empowerment by discovering her vocation through Bergzicht’s support and skills training development. “Bergzicht is the best thing that ever happened to me!” she says.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the skills training and I absolutely love my work! I am gaining experience in things I never thought I’d be able to do!
Bergzicht gave me the opportunity to discover who I am and gave me direction in life. I told myself that I would become whatever I want to be, despite the struggles.
Before this journey, I couldn’t reach my goals because of life challenges. So many bad things happened, and I even lost hope as I never had support. With the support I received from Bergzicht, I overcame the challenges that overpowered me before. I learned how to become strong, and I am working to make my dream come true to become an independent woman and a successful chef. Currently, I am enjoying my practical experience at Lanzerac Hotel as a Commis Chef.
